Tell him to be a man about it and terat her like a real lady. Don't do this in front of others she'll be pissed if she findsout everyone else knew and it was a set up. Have him do it alone somewhere, and jsut out with it, no building up to it junk. Just "Hey, I really enjoy being with you, you are totally awesome but I can't handle a steady relationship right now. I'd like to part ways and still be great friends because you ARE a great friend (that'll make her feel good) and I'd love to still hang out but on a much lighter level." Give her privacy, do it towards the latter part of the day so she can go cry or whatever. Tell him not to be a jerk about it and giver her some credit; she's probably a lot tougher than you think.
