Mustang v6 CAI buying separate parts?

I have the E-0940 K&N air filter and I want to get cold air intake for my car. However, I only seem to find complete kits for it, but I dont want the kit because I already have the $50 air filter. What exactly will I need and where could I buy these separate parts instead of a kit?
