Can I use an airsoft gun to scare people off my property when they are vandalizing?

My house never gets TPd. But this last month it has been done 3 times. They also egged my house and my cars, and we've called the cops but the cops can never get here in time. I've seen them doing it before and I've also tried turning the sprinklers on but they still come by they just make sure to stand on my walkway and off the lawn. I've ran outside and chased them off before but they're fast and still come back. This last time they wrote obscenities all over my car and TPd the whole house big time. I was just wondering if their actions turn into vandalism do I have the right to shoot them with an airsoft gun (the ones with plastic BBs) if I come outside? I want them to stop, but the cops are too slow and I can't figure out who it is. BTW I live in California

Cannot get my new deep well water convertible jet pump to prime?

my well is 72 ft. deep, approx. 40 years old. have been using shallow well pumps,3/4 hp., the whole time with great results. Lawn sprinkler repair man replaced with convertible deep well jet pump, also he installed "short" venturi tube into ejector. {shallow well pump bit dust during freeze, not winterized properly}. We cannot get pump to pick up prime. I have filled 72 ft. pipe full of water and filled primer plug hole with water, I can place hand over pipe and feel strong suction when pump is running, so i feel like pump is providing good negative pressure to system...but prime will not pick up. Pump motor is set to correct watt/amp of 115. Air tank is new with pressure set at 18 lbs., pressure switch is 20-40psi {basically irrelevent at this point} Things I'm not sure of: 1- If well ran dry 2-If pipe has deteriorated/has a hole. 3- what is at bottom of 40 yo pipe...footvalve? screen? ect. 4- if well collapsed {won't prime, so don't know if sediment is present.What should I do at this point? Well is only used for lawn sprinkler system. House is on city water. Only 1 pipe exits ground going to pump with one inline brand new brass check valve. Repairman suggests installing pvc pipe down inside steel pipe {72 ft.} at a cost of $300.00 bucks. I figure water should be located first. I live in Tidewater, Va., and I believe we are in some form of a drought, we are 7 inches shy of water according to news orgs. Any suggestions or information will be greatly appreciated.

As far as im concerned as a kid its your duty to go to school and get good grades.. You should just save up. And when you turn 18 you can ask your parents if they will chip in on a nice car for your graduation IF you want one of the cars above. Other then that just use your story you told us. I understand needing a car for work at your age and to go to school. My parents never gave me anything through highschool if I wanted off the bus it was up to me, if I got a job I was walking home after they dropped me off (if they could). America is right it is all a matter of gallons per minute. (gpm). My math show that your pump is filling the tank at about 5.6 gpm. I dont know how many sprinklers you are running at on time but a full circle pop up sprinkler is going to put out or use 3.5-4 gpm a 1/2 circle = 1.65 gpm a1/4 circle= .92 gpm. A typical system using 3/4 inch pipe can use only about 8gal of flow /min. I suspect your pump just cant keep up with the demand. I would suggest you first need to determine what your pumps capacity is supposed to be. If you dont know ask a well contractor. According to a brochure by Toro irrigation any pump used for irrigation should be able to produce 45 psi (pressure) at 10 gpm. You can change the lay out of your sprinkle system by adding in more valves thereby reducing flow or you might change to heads which put out little fingers or streamlets of water. These nozzles educe the flow but have to be run twice as long. Check Toro Irriagation, Rainbird , Hunter Sprinklers or Orbit for more info on sprinkler design and water use. Note the pressure difference between recommended and your pressure capacity.

HELP! Who is responsible for moisture problem in new home? It's making me sick!?

I just purchased a first floor condo. There is carpet in the bedrooms. I got sick when I started sleeping in the master bedroom. My eyes swelled up and my throat began swelling shut. We tore up the carpet and there is a definite smell of moisture and mold and it looks like punk wood under the sub floor. There was a sprinkler head right next to the air vent for under the building and this bedroom. I reported it and it's been capped off, but there is obviously problems in more than just that one area. I then started sleeping in the guest room on the other side of the condo (also has carpet). I developed a horrid headache from sleeping in there. I'm running out of places to sleep. Who do I contact? I had it inspected, but the inspector didn't pull up any carpet or check in the kitchen closet, which also appears to have moisture damage, because the previous own left a ton of things stuffed in the closet. The seller's agent never left me alone in the space so I never felt comfortable doing any serious poking around. I'm really sick and don't know who to contact or what to do. I'm no longer speaking to my Realtor. What can I do? I contacted the property management company and they're having an inspector come in, but I'm afraid I'll get taken advantage of again. HELP!

Motor Noise 2005 GT Mustang?

I have 2005 GT Ford Mustang. Hot or cold there is a clicking noise that coming from the engine. Sounds like "tick....tick...tick..." at idle and the warmer the car gets the louder the noise gets. When I hit the gas the motor the sound goes much quicker, "tick, thick, thick, tick. I don’t feel any difference the cars performance at all. I took it to a service station and they more or less gave me a very expensive oil change. Saying that they added some kind of lubricant engine treat meant that should help. This was over 1,000 miles ago and the noise is the same. Any idea on what this might be?

Rain-bird Sprinkler Won't Turn OFF?

Just had backflow tested and tried to turn on sprinklers for the first time this spring using the test feature. All zones turned on at once and won't turn off unless I shut down the water supply despite the controller being in the off position. I've tried reseting the controler, changing the battery and unpluging. Nothing seems to work. Not too handy, so unless its an easy fix I'm probably stuck calling an irrigation repair person.

Minor flooding in basement, did I take care of everything?

I left a sprinkler on by the window well of our finished basement, it completely saturated that room but no others. My husband had to pull the carpet and let it dry out in the garage. We will replace the pad when we get to it. He also pulled and threw away the baseboards and now has 3 large fans running in down there. Battery not charging on 89 ford mustang even with a battery charger?

about a week ago my battery went completly dead overnight first thing i assumed after i checked to see if all the lights we off was that there was a short but before i jump into all that hide and seek for the short i had the starter check because it was lagging well the results came back fine so i figured id try a new battery well that worked for about 24 hours and then went dead again so i had a friend jump the battery and the ground was messed up so we had to ground directly to the block and it charged right up so i figured at that point it was the ground connection to the battery and replaced the wire and cleaned all the terminals and yet again same thing is happening and not sure what else could be wrong except maybe the alternator but i did not think that could affect it unless the car was cranked any ideas ??? and thanks in advance

Why does my car starter stay on?

i just got a 91 mustang 5.0 and a few days ago. sometimes it starts fine but sometimes the starter stays on when after its running even when i turn the key back or off. so i unhook the positive from the battery so it stops. and sometimes when i hook up the battery back up, the feul pump kicks on and then it trys to start itself when the key isn't even in it. so what could it be? but then somtimes it works just fine.

until you actually verify that it is leaking at the header start the car up when its cold up on a lift and you can feel the air hit your palm, giving you an idea where the leak is. watch it though the headers heat up quick. The good news is it does not damage the engine. The question is what kind of headers and how old are they? they tend to warp from excess heat. And a poor quality header with a too thin flange needs to be replaced. As for price, its relative to how many header bolts break off, and some do break off. Rust, heat , time all add up, and one bolt may already be broken, and could be the cause of the leak. A muffler shop does this for a living, and thats the best place to go for an estimate.

Corner of backyard soaked?

the corner of my back yard is completely soaked. In the corner there is a retaining wall on the left and a fence along the back. i ran a french drain along the retaining wall thinking it was from that but no luck. When i was digging the trench for the retaining wall footing i think i hit the water table because the deepest end of the trench would fill with water slowly to a certain point then stop. i went a head and filled the trench with concrete and built my wall. That was 3 months ago. i now noticed after some digging that the concrete that the fence post is held in leaks water???? If i dig horizontal under the fench the dirt is completely mud. Does this sound like an issue with the water table or is it a drainage issue or broken sprinkler from the property behind me ? Also the wet soil seems to go more along the back fence the along my wall

You change tenses without good reason, starting with present "is not as normal as she seems" and then going inexplicably into past "she was a serial heartbreaker". That's quite jarring to read. There already is a bar mitzvah for teenage girls - the bat mitzvah. It's quinceanera, not Quincenyera. Definitely tidy up your punctuation and grammar. The bit about the food chain is good. "Too busy" not "to busy". I'm not sure who we are supposed to like in the story, which makes it a bit difficult. If something is going to happen to Lacey I think I'd want to make her human character a bit easier to warm too. It might be better to show her insecurity rather than tell us she has it. It is intriguing, though, and I'm sure people will want to read on and find out what happens to her.

The apartments recently were renovated & the stoves that were installed have knobs that do not stop at all, including on off, they just go around and around, no clicks or anything. The stove was turned off. There was a container with grease close to the store. There was more water damage than from the fire. The rental office was contacted, but didn't seem like they were going to do anything, we went in and cleaned up the apartment, removing damaged clothing and other possessions and drying everything that seemed salvageable . Why does everyone use the MP5 in COD4?

I'm just curious. Out of Call of Duty 4's Submachine Guns weapon category, I believe (for me at least), the MP5 and Skorpion are the easiest to use. But why the MP5? it's not overpowered or anything; I went into a game with the skorpion and did very well. I do a little worse with the AK74U but I threw it on my Suppressed class to get challenges for it. The upward recoil kinda throws me off a bit. Same with the AK47. How do I fix my Toro sprinkler system problem. All zones come on at the same time!?

My Car Overheats When A/C Is On?

I Have a 1997 Ford Mustang 3.8 V6. My problem is my car overheats when ac is on, ac works good ice cold but on very hot day it over heats even while doing 70 on highway its just too hot. i live in ok and is 103+. i need some help running through and seeing what the problem, and its not the thermostat i replace that the other day thinking it might help but no itdidn'tt. which means i also flushed out the radiator several times, and the fan comes on when the ac is on i checked that too it comes on soon as i turn on ac. idon'tt know what else to do.i also blasted radiator/condenser with high power water atcar washh and still same effect works for a while then starts to overheat. on cooler day around 90 or so it works going 50+ and stays normal but lately its been 103+ and even 65 on the highway still wont keep it cool. open to anything please!!

Sprinkler System Unresponsive?

I'm barely using my sprinkler system for the first time after purchasing my home. When I turn the water valve on for the system all the zones run at the same time. I've tried messing with timer/controller and nothing I do has ANY effect on the sprinkler system. I try going to manual and select only one zone but all zones continue to run. I've checked the connection of all the wiring at all the valves and re-spliced them (there was a bit of corrosion on some) Any ideas what this could be? Why is my system unresponsive to the controller? :(

IPod 80Gig keeps stopping during sync--stops on random, working songs HELP?

I've restored it a lot, reset it, reset my computer, brought it to the apple store and all they did was restore it...I've been trying to sync 1400 songs and it keeps stopping around 900-1100. It just says it is syncing one song but it keeps on going until it says the disk cannot be read. I can't eject it, so i just hafta pull it out; it goes black, and then when it turns back on it's either empty or has less than 10 songs. I've gone back and erased the problem songs...doesn't work. Does my 3/4 hp jet pump for a shallow well need a bladder tank?

We just installed a Utilitech 3/4hp Jet Pump for our shallow well of about 30 feet. We installed it with a Union just in case we had to remove it in the future and the Check Valve (Foot Valve) is above ground next to the well. It seems to be acting crazy! You have to turn it off at the main breaker every time we use it and the pressure gauge fluctuates really fast when building pressure or if you turn the valve off. I was hoping it would be easy just go out and turn a valve on and the well would work. We are just using it for irrigation with sprinklers but you have to prime it each time which takes about 20 minutes then you have to clean the algae out of the sprinkler for it to work? Would a bladder tank help this problem? Thanks for any input! :)

2003 craftsman riding mower 18.5 hp wont start?

Most mowers this size would not have the blade(S) mounted on the engine crankshaft there would be a mower deck and the blade(S) are on spindles .....Assuming the engine is a vertical shaft engine and you hit something and stopped the blade(S) from turning AS in NOW....I suppose it is possible you stripped the woodruff key in the flywheel/shaft at the top of the engine and the engine is out of time....Might need to talk with a Sears repair tech....

Side mirror on ford Mustang?

My driver's side mirror (powered) on my 2000 Mustang vibrates when I drive. the housing of the mirror is fine it's not loose, it's the mirror itself. Does anyone know how to tighten the mirror inside the frame? Right know I have something wedge in there to keep it from vibrating when I drive. I have tried to moving the mirror left or right to see if I could see if there was any way I could look behind it to fit a screw driver or something to tighten it with ....no luck....help.

Been feeling super funny lately and I am super freaked out, need some help/ suggestions?

I am paranoid about my personal items, checking to make sure my wallet and it's contents are still in my purse every 3 or 4 minutes. I am time paranoid even when I don't need to know the time, and am also checking it every 3 or 4 minutes. After someone says something or I have had a conversation with someone, it feels like it hasn't happened and I need to know whether or not it did happen, which obviously can cause for awkwardness. I am petrified this is the onset of something serious such as schizophrenia. I have had serious self harm issues in the past and am still having issues with hurting myself but not to the extend that I used to. I am a high school student and got my first mac (it was also my first computer) back in 2008 and it is still working like new even with all that I have put it though. To your first question, yes. If you get a mac, I would recommend getting office for mac because it is a bit easier to learn how to use it than iwork and is better for students. Also for your concern about emailing to teachers, you will not have to convert the file if you get Microsoft office for mac because it uses a .docx file format (office for windows uses .doc) which is compatible with most versions of microsoft office on windows computers that schools and teachers use. For your second question, also yes. If you are switching over from a pc, it will take a week or two to get used to but they are very easy to use, almost as easy as say using an iphone or ipod. It only took me about three days to learn how to use my computer when I first got it. Macs are great for students and I would recommend getting one.

And i know most of the v6's had the 7.5" but mine has the pony package included, which when i was reading about it they tried to base the suspension and drive train off the v8 mustangs. Everything is just going downhill lately and I'm just sick of it. I don't mind my dad, but he keeps pestering me to get a girlfriend. I bike literally 30-50 miles a day and sometimes enter mountain bike races. It is my first year of racing and she used to race snowmobiles. She tells me just to have fun and try my best but she gets mad if I do bad. I got 2nd once and 14 my last race so she yelled at me how I didn't try when almost the whole racetrack was uphill. She has every race planned out and I don't even enjoy mountain biking anymore because it's always the same thing. Train, race. Too old for USAF & Flight School?

I'm 22, recently decided to buckle down with college and will have my AA in a month or so. I've wanted to be a pilot since I was 6 and learned that my grandfather was a mechanic and worked on p-51 mustangs. However like most dreams we have as children that seems to be a ridiculous idea as you grow older. This one has kind of always stuck with me in some way and I'm starting to think about it a lot recently. I understand that only a VERY select few become fighter pilots, while other end up flying cargo or fuel. I've heard everything there is to hear about the difficulty and slim chances of becoming a pilot. I didn't come hear to hear more about that. I would love to fly for the USAF or Navy, however hard it is to land on a carrier lol. My only question is, am I too old to go down that road? I've heard about some "high-school to flight-school" program which may have been my best bet, but my head was elsewhere when I was in high-school. Any and all answers are appreciated, thank you.

How fast could I run 5 miles?

this week one of my 2 mile runs were 4 miles in 36 minnutes. so about 9 minnute pace the first three miles was ran in 27:47 and we ran the last one the track. the 3 miles we had to stop and wait for the other girls and wait for some cars to pass sometimes we left the clock running when we went back for them but some we didn't. I did a 5 mile race today there was lots of hills there was water sations about every 1.5 miles. and there were also water sprinklers. I ran 49:13 but I was running with a friend and she made me promise to run with her. at the last half mile i picked up the pace a lot and ran 15 seconds faster than het and passed 3 people. I was able to print easily and wasn't to tired when I was done. what pace did I run ad how fast could've I ran without having to run with my friend
